PANEL SESSION - Keeping Score:  Digital Engagement in Sports

ANDREW WILKINSON

True North Sports + Entertainment (TNSE)

Drew has over 17 years of experience working in marketing and communication roles across a variety of industries and businesses from small start-ups to large publicly traded companies. He has been with True North Sports + Entertainment (TNSE) since 2011 and in his current role as Director, Digital.  Drew currently oversees all Digital and New Media for TNSE including the Winnipeg Jets. This includes shaping how the company informs, educates, engages and drives revenue through their portfolio of websites, social media accounts, mobile apps and integrations as well as email marketing. He is a graduate of The University of Manitoba with Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) program where he majored in Marketing and Finance.

 

 

RHEANNE MARCOUX
Creative Director
Winnipeg Football Club

Rhéanne Marcoux is the Creative Director for the Winnipeg Football Club, managing marketing, design, branding and digital content for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Valour FC, Winnipeg’s newest professional soccer team. Formerly web content producer for the Winnipeg Jets and sports anchor/videojournalist for CBC, Rhéanne is passionate about sports and digital media, and has developed a social media course for her alma mater, Red River College’s CreativeCommunications program.

Jessica Fralick is the Digital Crisis & Reputation Risk lead for Edelman Canada – a global marketing and communications firm.  Based in Calgary, Jessica works with clients from a range of industries, helping them protect their brands online. She provides counsel that assists with identifying, navigating and gaining control of online conversations and information during crises or as issues emerge. Jessica has worked with clients including consumer brands WestJet, Unilever, and TELUS, as well as health service providers, professional sports teams, government agencies and energy companies.

Twitter is the pulse of the public conversation across Canada and has become a go-to resource for notables, brands and everyday Canadians. Join Twitter's Cam Gordon as he breaks down the latest tools and trends that are influence how we use the platform in 2019 and beyond while sharing new data and insights about what makes the Canadian conversation on Twitter unique. 

Cam Gordon (@cam_gordon on Twitter) is the Head of Communications for Twitter Canada and part of Twitter's global communications team. Cam works with journalists across Canada, keeping them informed of the latest happenings with Twitter and sharing Canadian Twitter stories rooted in politics, sports, entertainment and other areas. Prior to Twitter, Cam spent 10+ years in the agency world, working with clients such as LG Electronics, Disney, 3M and American Express plus top Canadian brands such as TELUS, Canada Goose and Spin Master. Cam is also on the program advisory committee for the Corporate Communications program at Centennial College and has taught digital media at Seneca College in Toronto.

 


CANCELLATION POLICY:

Registrations cancelled after February 22 are subject to payment in full.  Cancellations prior to February 22, a $50 admninistraton fee will be applicable.  Substitutions are welcome in either case.
