LevelUp | Understanding AI Visibility: How AI Is Changing Brand Discovery and Decision-Making
AI is changing how people discover, compare and choose brands. Instead of only searching Google or visiting a website, people are increasingly asking tools like ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity for recommendations, comparisons and advice.
In this interactive workshop, Laura Kloepfer from UpHouse/AIEO will explore what this shift means for marketers and communicators, including how AI forms impressions of organizations, why some brands appear in AI-generated answers while others don’t and what organizations can do to improve how they are understood and represented.
Through practical examples, frameworks and interactive exercises, attendees will look at AI visibility from the perspective of their own audiences and leave with practical ways to assess and strengthen their organization’s presence in AI-powered search.

The Advertising Association of Winnipeg is a member-driven organization that proudly supports people working in advertising, marketing and media. Founded in 1944, our primary focus is to act as an industry advocate that celebrates, educates and collaborates with the community at large. To launch our 70th anniversary, we consulted with key community stakeholders to provide insights on how we can better serve our membership.
